The acquisition will allow Bioworld to continue its expansion into licensed products for children
DALLAS, Feb. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Bioworld Merchandising Inc., the industry leader in delivering officially-licensed products for the top entertainment brands, announced the acquisition of Global Design Concepts (GDC), a leading design and distribution company providing licensed, branded, and private label accessories for children.

GDC will further Bioworld's growth in this sector of the market by providing access to top brands like Marvel, Disney, Nickelodeon, Nintendo, and Shopkins as well as lending its unmatched expertise in children's backpacks, lunch kits, and luggage.
The asset purchase will significantly increase Bioworld's worldwide distribution and overall share of the licensing industry. GDC's strong presence in Asia will provide Bioworld with 10 additional factories, all of which follow the most up-to-date codes of Ethical Trading and Social Compliance.
